Shopping

I would just like to rub it in every one's face that I am almost done with my Christmas shopping. That's right. I'm well organized and on top of things like that. Nanner, nanner! Except, I don't have a thing for Ryan yet. Oh, and there's our parents too. I have a small thing for the moms, but nothing for the dads and certainly nothing for the 2 of them together. I have to get something for the names Ryan and I drew in his family. Something for my brothers as well. I need to decide what to bake and pass out to prove that I'm a good neighbor. I also plan on getting things for the giving tree in our ward, but I have to wait until that's all set up. So, it's not really my fault that's not done yet, but crap! I guess I'm not as done as I thought, but I am determined to be entirely done with the big stuff by the end of this month. I don't want to be out shopping too close to Christmas. I hate being out with all of the idiots who are shopping during the Christmas season. It tries my sanity supremely and I always come home with a headache. I get enough headaches as it is, so I don't want to cause more. I suppose I could avoid the aggravation by simply improving my attitude. Yeah right. Like that's ever going to happen. It's just that some people have no common sense and I just have no patience. This references some of the things on my pet peeves list. I guess I need to pray for kindness, patience and tolerance and remember who is the reason for the season. That way, I can get it done without causing bodily harm to anyone.

I'm actually a big online shopper. Love eBay. And I have a ton of bloggy friends with great talents and businesses that I am buying from this year.

I just don't buy presents. That makes it easy! No, seriously, I write heartfelt letters to my parents telling them why I love them, and I know they appreciate it more than the socks or M&Ms I would have purchased (although I think my Dad might prefer the M&Ms!).

Well, nanner, nanner back to you. I'm done, done. Teachers, neighbors, family, everyone. Ha! Ha! Gotcha beat on this one. (or as the butterfly says, I'm the first winner, you are the second winner... no one is the loser around our place)

On behalf of all the idiots, may I say, "In your face. We love all the pushing and shoving. Driving around the parking lot three times only to end up in the north 40 so that we can ice skate to the front doors. The grumpy store clerks who make you feel like you're putting them out. Filling our shopping carts with the dregs and the rejects of Christmas paraphernalia that the recipients are either going to re-gift next Christmas or send to the D.I. in January. So there!"

I have just barely started. How are you able to buy stuff for your kids so early? Mine keep changing their minds about what they want until days before Christmas. I suppose that doesn't mean I have to get all their last minute requests though!

Good for you!

You have just reminded me of what a horrible job I've done so far. Darn it. NOTHING has been purchased! Good thing I only have a few people to buy for!

Everyone on my list is getting "Green Bags"...All I have to do is order them. Yup! even the kids...So I guess I can say that my shopping is done in about one click!

If you don't know what "Green Bags" are I'll just have to blog about them b/c my kiddos just insist we need them.

Holy Shopaholic Batman!! I have some stocking stuffers. But that's it! I guess I have a start on it, but since this year is going to be a whole heck of a lot easier, because we are buying about 1/8 of what we did last year, it won't be too hard.

You need to shop with the right people. Even though I don't love the chaos on the day after Thanksgiving, I go every year because the friends/family I go with are so much fun. We laugh at people, visit while standing in long lines and then treat ourselves to a delicious lunch afterwards. I usually get all my shopping done in one day. That's my plan again this year. Think about it :0)

I planned to get all my Christmas shopping done way early so that I wouldn't have to go out in the snow and shop with crazy people, but I sadly have not even started. I need to learn how to get things done early and not procrastinate. Good job on getting so much of your shopping done!!

I order most of my things on line. Mostly cause I'm too lazy to leave the house. hahaha. I'm also a big fan of walmarts sight to store option. I don't have to pay for shipping, but I don't have to go to the store and search for it. They just have it sitting there waiting for me. I wish all stores had that option. :)
