I'm excited to be going on vacation and I'm also kind of not. Now, before you gasp in horror, I'm just not looking forward to the flight. I'm not afraid of flying per say, I just don't necessarily enjoy it. I tend to get motion sickness pretty easily and any turbulence causes my stomach to turn. The barf bag is usually never very far from my reach. The farthest distance I have thus far traveled is to Hawaii. That was about a 6 hour flight. Monday's flight will be a total of about 12. We have a layover in Cincinnati which should help break up the monotony. I just don't know what to do during the 9 hours we'll be in the air from there to London.
I cut my hair short. I like it. Ryan wonders why women can't ever be happy and stick with a style for longer than 3 months.

Okay, I've been watching your clock on your blog count down to vacation time, but missed the fine print of where you were going. LONDON AND PARIS?!?!? I'm SO jealous! I LOVED my time there 5 years ago, and Eric and I are planning on going back for our 10-year anniversary. Hope it's everything you want it to be and more. Eat a Nutella-banana crepe on the ile de la cite' for me! I'll be dreaming about Paris tonight, and the National Gallery of Art in London... Hope the flight isn't too bad and that the trip is MORE than worth any motion sickness!
I get motion sick too. Have you ever tried a scopalamine patch? You get them from the doc and they last 3 days and don't make you tired. I usually wear them the entire vacation so I don't have to limit any activity.
Well, Christa, I'm ready to chop my hair off, too! I think I'm going to do it while Devin is off enjoying the pyramids of Cairo without me! Serve him right! Ha!!!
I hear you about the flight! I have to fly back to the US for little #4 with two toddlers all by myself. It's 24 hours--JUST FLIGHT TIME--that doesn't count the layovers--we leave here (yaounde) and we will stop in Zurich (9hours in the air), Chicago(9+hours), Denver(4hours), Salt Lake(2hours) and then Idaho Falls(45minutes). I am NOT excited.
