He's at it again

Two days ago, I discovered that Cameron has again been gluing papers to his bedroom wall. GLUING! Argh! At his school, kids can receive special notes of commendation when they do something good. They're the size of a post it note. He has about 11 of them. He's very proud of them and wanted to display them. All in a nice, straight line. When I took the time to actually really look at them, I noticed that they were very flat and smooth on the wall and knew that this wouldn't happen with just tape. I tried to take one off and could barely get one of the corners up. Great. He did this in his old bedroom and when he moved in with Tyler, I threatened him (yes they're mostly empty threats) that if he did it again he would be one sorry little boy. I try to hide the glue and tape from him, but I obviously didn't do a very good job. Now we have 2 bedrooms that will need to have the walls patched, sanded and repainted.

Oh, Christa! I am so sorry! Good luck with the room.

Dang Christa. Sorry. I hate it when those things happen.

Oh man. Is it Elmer's, where a fair amount of water might attempt to get rid of it? Good luck!!

Ugh, that is the worst!
Julia drew all over her wall, but at least I don't have to sand it off.
Oh, and I just saw my button on your sidebar, thanks so much! I need to bring a polishing cloth to Thanksgiving for you. Will you be there?

Be thankful you aren't MY mother! My brothers and I would put boogers all over the walls. Like, millions. I have no idea where we learned this, but it boggles my mind that I would think it was okay. Have you ever tried to get boogers off a wall? They are like cement! :)

I'm sorry, but that's hilarious. Kids are so funny. Maybe you should start framing them for him. hahahaha.

I think you need to get him a bulletin board! ;D

What type of glue is it? We might be able to figure out how to get it off!

Another idea, in Martha Steward Living magazine from October, there was a bedroom with a 4x4 grid of plastic folders/page protector thingies. The decorator just had 8x10 B&W photos in them that could be changed out easily. You could put something like that together and have Cameron put his papers in the plastic. (This idea probably sounds dumb but it looked really cool in the magazine. I'm sure you could make it look cool too.) I'll try to find a link for you if you're interested.

Ohhh! Not fun! My two year old ripped off the nice border that I had labored hours to get on straight on his wall. Of course leaving behind glue and bit and pieces of paper but most of it came off with warm water sprayed with a spray bottle. Good Luck!☺

Maybe for Christmas he needs an EXTRA large cork board. That might help with the gluing and taping on the ceiling and walls. You could probably find one at ExPedex.

Oh Cameron--he makes me laugh so hard!! My newest favorite Cameron quote, "I'll see you when my buttox is shaved!" HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Oh no. I'm sorry, that's horrible! But so funny. You'll laugh later, I promise :)

What about a flannel board with string so he can just slip them in? Or a tac board?
