Oh, what a beautiful morning

I was truly excited to wake up this morning to snow. I'm ready for it and for the winter season. By the end of January I'll want it to be done, but I'll take it right now. All of my kids have spent time doing this this morning. I love that they get excited over snow like me. No, it's not sick and twisted to get excited over snow.

I love snow too. Although it makes me want to cuddle up in a soft blanket with a cup of hot cocoa and read a good book. Which is not necessarly bad. I just don't get anything else done! Lazy, lazy mom!

I love it too. Until I have to drag the garbage can into the middle of our circle. Makes me excited for Christmas!

The reason I wasn't excited when I looked out the window this morning:

The roads. I live 13 miles from town and I don't take the freeway to get there. Jaren needed the Tahoe today so I drove my car and I hate driving in ANY amount of snow on the road w/o 4 wheel drive. So... that's why I was excited when it started to melt today :) I'll take it, but I would rather wait till Christmas!

I was 30 minutes late for work this morning because of it. But I am having a nice time watching it out the window from my desk. If I didn't have to go out into it, I would like it more.

I'm not so much a fan. I don't like being couped up in my house, but that's why we're all different. I'm glad you enjoyed it today.

Julia was SO excited about the snow, Ethan was on the fence, and I wasn't thrilled about it. I'd rather have fall last a little longer.

I have to admit, I never thought I would miss the snow. But, after living for a year in a tropical climate, I'm really looking forward to seeing a different season!!! (In THREE WEEKS!!!) AND being near the end of pregnancy, that snow sounds SO inviting!!! :)
