I'm just wondering

At what age to boys need to start wearing deodorant? Does anyone have any idea? Or, even better, firsthand experience. Ryan thinks I'm crazy for even thinking that someone in our house just might need it.

I made Z start wearing to last year--so at Tyler's age. It is NOT crazy--at all. They run hard, play hard and stink hard. Try helping in the 4th grade class that is the majority of boys--after recess and we are all cramped in that small room--STINK-A-LICIOUS!!

Whenever they want to attract girls instead of scaring them off?

Though my boys are not anywhere NEAR deoderant age (they are both 6), I bought them cute little trial deoderants and they LOVE putting on their deoderant. If you start younger, it will help them get into the good habit of putting it on. As for my daughter, I had her start when we got her at age 11. Better safe than sorry :)

I haven't done this yet but I remember last Easter Jami mentioning that the "Easter Bunny" put deodorant in all three of her kids baskets and they had all been wearing it for awhile. The bunny still brings my kids their own box of bandaids but I am sure we will getting deodorant in the near future.

I have no idea! The only "boy" in my life is 53 and never worn deodorant in his life. I'm not kidding. And he doesn't stink. Please explain this to me because if I don't apply it while I'm still in the shower I stink to high heaven!

Every boy is different. Even with Bo playing football and running hard everyday he never got sinky. But he hated how wet he was. So he started it wearing it last summer. But now that football is over he doesn't need it.

Well, I started making Tanner wear it when he was 8. And that was starting too late! But you didn't hear that from me.

As soon as they hit puberty and start growing arm hair. 12? 11? Whenever that happens give them a stick!

Please make them start wearing it before they start going to church dances. Please.
