If you watch how I move you'll mistake me for a playa or pimp (184)

My left hip is really hurting today. It keeps slipping a little out of the socket. It catches me off guard every time it happens. I've been able to rotate it a little and get it to go back in on my own. It's after that part that really hurts like the devil. It feels exactly like it does when I'm pregnant. It's a sharp, stabbing, nerve like pain. It's causing a literal pain in my butt. I feel like I'm walking with a limp right now. I think I aggravated it yesterday in the shower while I was shaving my legs. I'm really annoyed that it's happening.

Yikes! I'm so sorry. I've heard sciatica is excruciating.

I have the answer: Just don't shave your legs! That's what I do. haha

First off, I agree with Julie. Shaving is much too dangerous for you. Next off, this will require a cure of chocolate and girl porn. It will be a good excuse for you to be required to put your legs up and have your kids and husband do EVERYTHING so you can be ready for your trip. For this purpose, we can pretend I am a doctor. That way you can tell Ryan that your doctor told you: you have to take it easy. :) Get well soon!

I am so sorry, I hate getting older and having all of these pains. I hope it feels better really fast so you can really enjoy yourself on your fun vacation!!

Oh yeah, you're going to Europe! You TOTALLY don't have to shave.
PS: That picture makes me queazy. Not the 1/2 of a bare bum, but the highlighted-yellow sciatic nerve. I like to think I don't have any gross insides. That's probably why I quit going to the doctor.

OUCH! I hope it starts to feel better soon. Have you ever looked up info on SI joint dysfunction? It can cause sciatic nerve irritation and there are a few techniques that really help put the SI joint back in place with just pushing and pulling on your legs. A PT showed me and they are simple to do on your own. HOpe you start feeling better soon. Hopefully winter will come soon and you can quit shaving for awhile, LOL.
