I'm doing what somebody told me to do - Shocking

This is the box. It came from Costco. Cameron decided to turn it into a table. He drew the picture in the middle and then colored the rest of it. He loves to draw and color and would glue or tape every single one of his creations to the wall if he knew where I kept the glue and tape. Last week, he told his dad "art is what drives me."

He assigned everyone (himself, his brothers and sister) a side or position that they were supposed to sit at when using the table. He would insist that all four of the kids gather round it to eat and then get mad because they didn't fit, or that their plates were getting too close to his. He tried for about 2 weeks to get it to work. He had to finally admit that it was too small to be used as a dinner table.

I love it when kids get creative. It looks like he had a great time making this!

Kids can come up with the craziest things. And he's persistent to try for two weeks to crowd around that little box!

Hi Christa,

Here's a good video I found on YouTube about religion, you might like to view it and see if you have any answers for the questions it poses.

I think it makes a lot of good common sense don't you?

PS.
Nice blog by the way.

I got the above comment too. I actually went and watched the video and it basically is saying that God is imaginary and that if you pray and beleive in an imaginary being you are delusional--blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda. Don't waste your time.

What a great artist!

Very cute. My little sister got a small white table with four chairs when she turned I think 3? And all she did was want to use it as a stage. :)

I totally LOVE it. I'm glad it is his "art that drives him" it could be so many other things that aren't so harmless! :)

I love it! I have one of those too. I can never find my tape, scissors, glue and stapler! But I found this post on your blog so sweet and close to home. I wouldn't change it for the world. Maybe you could get him some butcher paper and lay it out on the table so he could have his dream table.

There's nothing like a good box to keep your children entertained. Next time you should get one of those huge refrigerator boxes. The last time I did that, I just put it in the bedroom, called it a "playhouse" and I didn't see my kids for three days. It was awesome! :0)
