I'm just too likeable

Darn my silly, outgoing, fun, effervescent personality. People just love me so much, they keep tagging me. I can't say that I blame them. I'm so amazing that even I would like to know more about myself. So, because I'm loved so much and I know there are like 3 people dying to read these answers, I've decided to do a couple of tags in one. I hope that you don't go into Christa overload.

Tag #1:

7 Random or weird facts about me

(Now, I tried to upload that tag image from other's blogs, but blogger doesn't like me today and didn't want to do it.)

I've talked about some of these things in other posts. So, I hope there isn't too much repetition involved in this.

1. I can't stand to have hot feet. I get claustrophobic and panicky when it happens. I especially hate it when I'm in bed and they get hot. If it happens, I have to stick them outside of the blankets. The rest of my body can be covered, but not my feet. Therefore, I very rarely wear socks or shoes. My feet have to be really cold to make me feel like I want to put them on.

2. I hate (and when I say hate, I mean HATE) daytime television and awards shows. Daytime television would include: soap operas. No, I have never even liked Days. Not even when I was in Junior High. My mom used to record the Young and the Restless & As the World Turns everyday and then watch it early in the morning. I always wondered why. Another daytime genre: talk shows. Yes, even Oprah. I would say that during the entire run of her show, I've watched a combined total of 2 hours. The greatest length of any one of her shows was a "favorite things" episode and that was only because I was coveting some of the things. All awards shows: this would include the Grammy's, Oscar's, Emmy's (Day & Night), Soul Train Awards, etc. I can sometimes watch some of the pre & red carpet specials, but I only do it to mock the fashions. Having to sit through the actual ceremony would be pure, flat out hell for me.

3. I obsess/worry/dream about my teeth crumbling and falling out. I don't know why I do this. Some dream analysis books say this has something to do with fearing the loss of control. I do fear that. I just like things to be the way I want them. So the books are probably right. I've only ever had 3 cavities in my entire life. They were in baby teeth and fell out. I just seem to have enamel of steel and nothing gets through it. Despite the fact that I worry about losing all of my teeth, I don't get to the dentist nearly often enough.

4. I can't tell you how happy I am that I only need to tell you 7 facts about myself. I love odd numbers and 7 is the most supremely divine and wonderful of them all. I like to spell words out in my head. When I do it, it involves a weird thing with my teeth, but it's too complicated to type out. It's a comfort thing for me to do it. Bobie likes to spell words out also and she likes odd numbers as well. She's smart and she explained the reason for it the best. It gives the word a "middle". For example: blaNket. 3 letters on one side, 3 on the other. This fact is the middle of seven. Sublime.

5. I delight in passively aggressively forcing others to do things.

6. This is probably a little gross, but I tend to like things a bit on the underdone side. No, not poultry. Who wants botulism? I'm not talking about meats. Although, I can eat steak medium rare, and salmon sushi is my favorite. No, I'm talking about baked goods that aren't quite baked through. I like gooey cookies. Bread that isn't quite done. Pancakes as well.

7. I'm not gregarious in any kind of way. Many people have thought that I don't like them because I have a hard time just walking up to someone and starting a conversation. Sorry to have given the wrong impression to some. Believe me, if I didn't like you, it would be really obvious. However, despite the fact that I'm shy, I did follow my now husband to St. George one weekend ten years ago this past May. He kept missing all of my subtle hints that I wanted him to ask me out. When I found out he was going there for a wedding, I magically happened to be going down to visit my grandparents at that same time. We got together to hang out on Saturday night. We talked for hours. I kissed him. He liked it and kissed me back. We got engaged one week later. (Don't worry. We knew each other for about 4 years before this happened.) Maybe I'm not as shy as I think.

Wow, two tags at once! Love the answers. Especially the passive aggresive one. I'm so the same way.
