I usually give Peyton a banana mixed with yogurt, oatmeal baby cereal and flax seed. I like to use Stonyfield Farm Organic Yo Baby yogurt. You can get it plain, mixed with cereal and fruit or flavored. I've been giving it to him because it's made with whole milk. My pediatrician suggested whole milk yogurt to see if we might be able get him to gain some weight. I think that he's just meant to be thin like Cameron, but I'm giving it a try. I was almost out of the baby cereal, so I tried something that I don't know why I haven't tried before. I just used quick oats and ground them in my coffee grinder. Basically I made an oatmeal flour. It ground up to the same consistency as the boxed stuff and mixed up just as well. There were no complaints from Peyton. So, maybe this is what I'll do from now on.

Peyton is so cute! I always bought that same yogurt for Olivia and she loved it. Making your own baby cereal is a great idea and probably cheaper in the long run. You are so creative!
I love coffee grinders! You can also use the oat flour for when he's old enough to pick up the food. Grind up oats, flax, or even cheerios and coat your finger food with that so it's not so slippery! :)
