Last night we attended the Premiere Night of the new Chick-fil-a in South Jordan at The District. Ryan provided a sound system for the event. His cousin, Becky Pickle, is the owner/operator. Becky & Chick-fil-a invited 150-175 people to come and preview some of the food. You could have either the original chicken sandwich combo, char grilled sandwich combo or chicken nugget combo. The kids could have the same thing or a 4 or 6 piece nugget kids meal. You also had a choice of cheesecake or brownies for dessert. Then at the end they passed out vanilla, chocolate or cookies & cream shakes. Not just samples. Full size shakes. There was so much food. I didn't try the shakes because they're not always my thing, but what I had was really good.
They had "cows" walking around waving and posing for pictures with the kids. My kids all thought that they were very funny. When it came to actually posing for a picture, only Tyler would do it. One of the cow costumes is about 8 feet tall. So, I guess that can be pretty intimidating. Avery and Cameron wanted nothing to do with him even though they knew the "cow" was Becky's brother Steven. They would only wave and say hi from a safe distance.
