I tuck my kids into bed every night. We say prayers and give each other hugs and kisses. The usual stuff. Tonight I finished the ritual with Avery and then she said, "Mom, you make my heart happy." Does it get any better than that?

That brought tears to my eyes. How sweet! When they say things like that, it makes it all worth it, doesn't it?
That is so sweet. I guess Heavenly Father knows that we need to hear things like that so that when they are naughty we can remember that although they are naughty now they can also be sweet, loving and nice!
